George W. Carroll - Big Band Jazz Music

George W. Carroll's first big band CD "Life Is Good"

This project was a labor of love for George, and features the best of the best big band arrangers, great American Music, and the arranging talent of Frank Mantooth who big band arranged George's original signature tune, "Life Is Good."  A great gift for those who love big band jazz and vocals.

(A side note: Famed arranger Sammy Nestico took time from his hectic schedule of projects with The Boston Pops and Quincy Jones to compliment George on the fine job he did to Sammy's arrangement of "Fly Me To The Moon." In a recent dialogue with Sammy, he suggested to George that his big band is one of the best he's heard.)

Check out the trombone solo by Roger Delillo, former musical director for "The Mike Douglas Show", along with Kim Bock's tenor sax and John Slate on piano - these guys have certainly come to play!
